Cochin Shipyard Job Vacancies 2020: Cochin Shipyard was incorporated in the year 1972 as a fully owned Govt of India company. In the last three decades the company has emerged as a forerunner in the Indian Shipbuilding & Shiprepair industry. This yard can build and repair the largest vessels in India. It can build ships upto 1,10,000 DWT and repair ships upto 1,25,000 DWT. The yard has delivered two of India’s largest double hull Aframax tankers each of 95,000 DWT . CSL has secured shipbuilding orders from internationally renowned companies from Europe & Middle East and is nominated to build the country’s first indigenous Air Defense Ship. Shipyard commenced ship repair operations in the year 1982 and has undertaken repairs of all types of ships including upgradation of ships of oil exploration industry as well as periodical lay up repairs and life extension of ships of Navy, UTL, Coast Guard, Fisheries and Port Trust besides merchant ships of SCI & ONGC.

Job Requirements:
Maintain and manage the IT Systems, Infrastructure and applications as per the industry standards and minimize the downtime of the resources by identifying the risks, analyzing the root causes and proposing the new design and models. Do system study, analysis, design, estimation, proposal drafting,
implementation and management and maintenance of IP Surveillance and monitoring systems, Audio Visual and Video Conferencing Systems, Access Control and Biometric Capturing systems.
Not to exceed 35 years.
Scale of Pay & Benefits:
a) In addition to Basic Pay, the Executives are eligible for Industrial DA as applicable, HRA @ of 16%
of Basic pay, Perks upto 35 % of Basic Pay, Contributory Provident Fund Scheme, Accident
Insurance coverage, Reimbursement of Medical expenses under the Contributory Medical
Insurance policy, Leave encashment, Performance Payment, other allowances etc as admissible.

(ii) No application fee for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe
(ST) / Person with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD). They are exempted from payment of
application fee.
(iii) All applicants for whom the fee is applicable, i.e. except those belonging to SC/ST/PwBD,
should pay the application fee as stipulated in clause d (i) above. It is important to note
that their candidature shall be considered only on receipt of application fee

application consists of two phases – One time Registration and Submission of application
against the post applicable. Applicants should not submit more than one application.
